Chillin' At Church

Wow! We had thirty six little ones for the first Chillin' At Church. I want to thank Lauren Rogers and crew for all the hard work in preparation for this event. I know it will be a wonderful Summer.

It is hard for me to believe that most of the youth that went on the Mission trip were two years old or less when we moved to Shreveport. I have watched them grow and go from Children's worship and VBS to youth group and missions. Unfortunately it didn't seem to take that long. This does remind me of the importance of helping our children to grow in Christ. The idea that University is a Place to Call Home is much more than a slogan. It is a mission. - I hope to write in 6 - 10 years about another mission team that was sliding down the slide at Chillin' At Church yesterday.
